John O’Connor
President
For 28 years, John has been a part of a team that created value for various businesses owned by the Collier family of Collier County, Florida. For the past six years, he has also provided fractional CFO services to a variety of clients ranging from financial planning to healthcare to real estate development. In addition, John leads the executive incentive design and administration practice at Firm Financial Partners.
Collier manages a broad range of enterprises engaged in private equity investments, real estate investment and development, and agriculture. As Chief Financial Officer of Collier Investments, John worked with owners, other executive leadership team members, and outside dealmakers to strategically manage privately-held companies, and assess new investment alternatives. His focus included portfolio companies in agribusiness and technology. John was a part of the team that successfully exited Rivian Automotive in 2022, Consolidated Citrus in 2001, and Orange-Co in 2014 for $274 million. The team has created more than $500 million of value.
Working on all aspects of start-ups and medium sized businesses, John has learned how to enhance businesses’ professionalism while building on the essential entrepreneurial spirit. He began his career with Ernst and Young while earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lipscomb University.

Daniel Palladino
Director of Finance
Prior to joining FFP, Daniel began his professional finance and accounting career with a leading global public accounting firm, primarily focused on the technology, business professional services, and consumer and industrial products industries. During that time, he focused on transaction advisory and financial due diligence projects, specializing on buy-side and sell-side services and completed more than 30 transactions of middle-market companies.
Daniel attended Florida State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance before earning his Master of Science in Accountancy from The University of Notre Dame. He is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Kyle brings to FFP over five years of financial consulting experience with Baker Tilly US, LLP where he specialized in municipal advisory services. Kyle assisted public school districts and libraries with cash flow analyses, bond financings, tax rate management, capital plans, and other financial needs.
Kyle attended Indiana University and graduated from the Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business, specializing in business economics and public policy analysis.
Kelly started her career at Deloitte & Touche, and while there became a CPA. She managed audit engagements for a variety of companies in various industries, including communications. She went to work for one of her clients, a multi-media company, to focus on Business Development. She was responsible for identifying and assessing corporate level investment opportunities for all their business units.
After a sabbatical to focus on her family and volunteer in her community, Kelly returned to work at a fraud protection and guaranteed payments company in their financial planning and analysis group where she was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting as well as many ad hoc projects. She later moved to account management to lead their channel partnerships and manage one of the company’s largest revenue accounts. Kelly also managed the deployment of 4,000 nurses at a rapid response healthcare staffing firm during the COVID pandemic.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Administration: Accounting from Miami University.
Sherri is an accountant who managed several part-time accounting and bookkeeping positions for 25 years while she spent time at home as her four daughters grew up. Sherri’s most recent experience was with a group of nonprofits, with annual revenue totaling more than $120 million. As the accounting manager of several companies for eight years, she handled the monthly bookkeeping (including receivables, payables, and reconciling all cash and investment accounts), the financial statements, and the annual financial statement and other audits. She oversaw payroll, insurance, and had additional human resources responsibilities. She was very involved in cash management, with a focus on maximizing earnings.
Sherri graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lipscomb University.
PJ is a financial consultant specializing in accounting, systems implementation and management, and process improvements. She has 18 years of accounting experience working in a wide range of industries, including service providers, merchandising businesses, and manufacturing companies. PJ works with business owners, shareholders, auditors, and other third-party service providers to establish cohesive processes to produce meaningful financial reporting.
PJ has spent the last six years as an independent consultant primarily working in private equity and medical related industries. Previously, she was the controller for a pharmaceutical Science Branding Agency, a private company, and Masco Builder Cabinet Group, a publicly traded company.
Mary brings to our clients more than 30 years of administrative experience. She is responsible for managing the full document processing life cycle – from processing the mail, to managing document imaging, routing, and tracking – for FFP and our clients. Not only is Mary the glue that holds Firm Financial Partners together, she also assists with internal compliance initiatives for our clients, such as acting as an Accounts Payable gatekeeper and an HR liaison.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from Northern Illinois University, as well as an Associates of Arts in Music and Mass Communications from Waubonsee Community College.
Jana has more than nine years of financial experience in various industries including purchasing, restaurant, software, and pharmaceutical branding. Her expertise includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, budgets for projects/special events, and job costing. She has managed contracts, business licenses, and property taxes, and is experienced in human resources functions including processing payroll. She is proficient in MAS 90, Sage, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
Jana graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Georgia State University.
Holly is a Human Resource professional with 25 years of experience. Her experience spans various industries including agribusiness, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and real estate. She has broad experience in HR functions including benefits, compensation & payroll, compliance, employee relations, HRIS software, PEO, recruiting, and training. She has a passion for bringing both employers and employees together in an environment that is productive and successful.
Holly attended the University of Central Florida and received a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resources and Florida Gulf Coast University earning a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and holds a Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
Sydney is a software engineer with experience building responsive full-stack web applications utilizing Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Bootstrap, Tailwind) and Back-End Development (Java, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Mongoose). In addition, she has spearheaded the design and implementation of graphic content to be utilized for stakeholders, business documents, SEO, brand recognition and social media. Sydney’s past experiences in healthcare, wellness, and non-profit sectors have prepared her to approach software issues head-on and generate creative solutions while cultivating a meaningful work experience that align with her passions of community, advocacy, and innovation.
Sydney attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University.
Peyton is from Marietta, GA. He has over 2.5 years of experience as a public accountant specializing in auditing. He has experience amongst diverse industries, including insurance companies, non-profit entities, healthcare providers, and others. Prior to that, Peyton held a role with a hospitality group where he assisted them in their accounting operations and COVID-19 relief.
He attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.
Erin brings a unique blend of expertise to the table, with a diverse background spanning Emergency Medicine, Risk Management and Real Estate. With a passion for helping others in both high-pressure situations and strategic decision-making processes, Erin has honed her skills in problem-solving, communication, and adaptability. Starting his career at a public accounting firm in Atlanta, Jordan spent three years sharpening his skills across a diverse range of industries, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of financial management. Transitioning to a role in the financial reporting department of a publicly traded insurance company, he spent 3.5 years further refining his expertise, contributing to the company’s compliance and transparency efforts.
A proud graduate of Georgia Southern University, Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree. He continued his academic journey, earning a master’s degree in accountancy with forensic emphasis.
Elizabeth has more than 20 years progressive accounting experience. She has expertise in multiple industries including energy, technology, public accounting, and manufacturing with a variety of company structures from public, private equity, and partnerships. She has diverse experience in accounting functions including month-end close (including accounts receivable, payables, cash management, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and posting, and intercompany transactions), annual audits, Sox compliance, financial statements, payroll, commissions, multiple system implementations, and exposure to IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
Elizabeth attended Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Her enthusiasm for continuous learning motivated her to obtain two higher level degrees from Kennesaw State University: Master of Business Administration with a focus in Management and Master of Science in Accountancy.
